Canon EOS 350D Digital Rebel XT
three horizontal frames + star trails from previous image composited in PSCS2.
manual settings: bulb mode, ISO 100, f5.6, 18mm, 14-18sec

Jeremy - "the light seems kind of blurry and drifting away" - do you mean the steam and vapors floating in front of the lights that is drifting to the left in the frame and causing the light to separate into layers in the image? - jason

Excellent dynamic piece… I like the way the image divides into 2 distinct areas (with a specific dividing line - the rails) that have contrasting attributes (tone, texture, mass, volume, etc) and yet create a balance of opposites. Great work.

Well well... what a shot !!! The position, angle & perspective as good as ever coming from U.. U did well to manage it with 3 composites.
The Larger version looks really awesome !! With the train being prominent & leading the eye in..

I am not to sure if the star trails add value to the whole image, but that may be because they aren't so bright !! The sky color though adds a lot, but a need minor color noise removal/reduction ...

Did U use a polarizer for this shot ?
Cause it would have help reduce glare from lights..

All together a gr8 work !! Top marks for me !!!
