Carlos, it's a composite of a few shots - not exactly like you'd take an HDR image, but similar, I suppose. You're exactly right about the star trails, though - I think it was right around ~45 minutes. - jason

It looks like a photomanip to me as the light pollution from the lamp post should be in the image on the right but is not..
any chance of posting the origional files?

I don't know why the description didn't show up, but I added it. As you can see, as with my other panoramas, it's a composite. I have recategorized all of my composite panoramas accordingly. Thank you for pointing that out - I never noticed that subcategory before.
This image is comprised of four overlapping shots. As for the light from the lamp, it is not visible on the right due to several factors: 1) the two different adjacent exposures; 2) variable steam clouds floating by; 3) a line of rail cars obstructing the light.
As for posting original RAW files, take my art as it is, as I present it or don't look at it at all. - jason
